Robotics

Robotics allow the customer greater flexibility.

Industrial robots are becoming more and more commonplace on the factory floor.  IES has been integrating industrial robots into our projects for years for many different applications.  Robotics allow the customer greater flexibility to update processes as products are updated or added to an assembly line.
IES mechanical and electrical engineers work hand in hand together to specify the type and load capacity of the robots, design and build custom end of arm tooling, run simulations of the robots, and finally design the safety infrastructure to protect factory personnel who work around the robots.

Applications

  • Palletizing
  • Welding
  • Painting
  • Glue/Foam/RTV Applicators
