IES developed the controls system to control our RTC 1098 tank car washer. The controls system is built completely from standard industrial controls components available from multiple sources — no proprietary electronic circuits or devices to ensure fast availability of parts. The enclosure is NEMA 4 rated and was supplied with an enclosure cooler for the elevated temperature environment. The controls screens feature user friendly intuitive layout that allows for quick selection of wash cycle intensity and visual feedback of wash cycle status. All wash jet movement parameters are customizable through touch screen menus and tables.
